HELP / Installation

Requirements:
If You do not care about how good Minecraft look - You do not need anything, just base pack, but some textures can look bad.

For minimal work You need Forge mod, witch fixes HD textures in minecraft, but gives no other texture modifications.

For max pleasure use OptiFine mod (it need Forge) or MC Patcher program. Optifine have little less options for texture pack, but works fine with Forge, witch is needed for many good mods. MC Patcher is easier to install than Forge and Optifine, but on mine computer MC Patcher Connected Textures do not work after installing Forge.

SWC32 is made for OptiFine, use MCP at own risk.

For manual installation:
  1. First of all You need HD Patch installed, because basic Minecraft support only textures of 16x16 resolution. Bigger resolution works fine, but some of blocks have messed face and there is no additional animation, font or color. You need to download and install OptiFine mod.
  2. Put texturepack .zip file into ~/.minecraft/texturepacks/ folder. (use search files to get to it, looking for minecraft.jar file (located in ~/.minecraft/bin/ ). You may also extract contents of that .zip into ~/.minecraft/texturepacks/SWC32x/ it will work as well, but some textures from CTM mod may not work.
  3. Run game and go to "Texture Packs" menu.
  4. Select SWC32 and click "Done".

There is also other way, more automated.
  1. First of all You need HD Patch installed, because basic Minecraft support only textures of 16x16 resolution. Bigger resolution works fine, but some of blocks have messed face and there is no additional animation, font or color. You need to download and install OptiFine mod.
  2. Run game, go to "Texture Packs" menu and click "Open texture pack folder".
  3. Copy texturepack .zip file into opened directory.
  4. Get back to game, You may need to return to main menu and back to "Texture Packs" menu to refresh list.
  5. Select SWC32 and click "Done".

If You want merge main pack with additional textures, animations etc.
  1. Open "base pack" .zip file in archive manager (WinZip for example).
  2. Open "addon pack" .zip file in second window of archive manager.
  3. Drag all files from "addon pack" to "base pack", there should be no duplicate files to overwrite, but merge all folders if asked.
  4. Install base pack, or if You opened base pack from minecraft folder - just run game and play.
